Located in the Pocono Mountains, Camp Ichthus is tucked away in a beautiful spot close to white water rafting, skiing, hiking, boating and biking.  The Camp is situated on approximately 100 acres of land with open fields and wooded areas.  The camp was founded in 1954 and the first part of the camp to be built was the outdoor chapel establishing the foundation for Christian Camping.

On the property there are 2 cabins that sleep 14 people each and one oversized cabin that sleeps up to 30 people.  The cabins do not have bathroom facilities attached.  There is wash area near the cabins and a shower house near the main house.  The main house has a fully furnished kitchen with storage space, dining hall for 50 people, 4 upstairs bedrooms with two shared bathrooms and a wood burning stove for heat.  There is a meeting room which can hold up to 35 adults in chairs or 40 teens or children sitting on the floor.  The pond is used heavily during our summer camping season and is also home to very large trout.  There is a pavilion which can hold 200 people for functions with an outdoor fireplace and cooking area.  For recreation purposes we have a wonderful ball field, sand volleyball court and a recreation hall with basketball hoops.

The camp’s location is very desirable.  Groups seeking a weekend retreat or week long trip in the summer will find the location ideal.  The camp is located minutes from the North East Extension, offering easy access to the property.  Within minutes from the camp are popular attractions such as white water rafting in Jim Thorpe, hiking on the Appalachian Trail, boating at Beltzville Lake, and biking along the Blue Mountain.
